Program Overview
Funded by the Indiana Department of Health (Division of Nutrition and Physical Activity) and aligned with the state's farm to school strategies, this grant supports regional capacity-building and resource sharing. It is designed to bridge the gap between students, schools, and local food systems, similar to ongoing efforts supported by Parkview Health.
Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for this funding opportunity, applicants must be located in Northern Indiana, specifically within Regions 1, 2, 3, and 4. Please see map below.
Funding Details
Selected applicants can receive up to $1,500 in approved items, supplies, or materials to bring their project to life. Funding is available for projects that strengthen:
Local food procurement
Agriculture and nutrition education
School-based agricultural experiences
