The USDA was created as part of the partnership between the U.S. Department of Agriculture and the 1890 Land-Grant Universities. The goal of the USDA is to enlarge the number of minorities studying in the agriculture and food industry. The application is open to high school seniors entering their first year of college and rising sophomores and juniors in college. All of the application components must be sent by February 15, 2022.
