Indiana Farm to School Office Hours: Farm to School Classroom Activities for Educators

Looking for meaningful ways to bring Farm to School into your classroom this fall? Join us for an Office Hours session focused on practical, standards‑connected activities that support learning in science, math, literacy, social studies, health, and more. This session will highlight flexible ideas that teachers can use across grade levels, from quick engagement strategies to deeper project‑based learning options.

Our speaker will lead the first half of the hour with examples of classroom lessons, hands‑on activities, and curriculum connections that integrate local food, agriculture, and nutrition education. Whether you’re new to Farm to School or looking to deepen your existing work, you’ll leave with classroom‑ready ideas aligned to Indiana academic standards.

The second half of the hour will be open for general technical assistance. Participants are invited to bring questions about curriculum, resources, local sourcing, school gardens, Harvest of the Month integration, or any other Farm to School topic.
